Tampa, FL, June 14, 2023 – ReDefiners World Languages, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to equipping individuals with multilingual skills, is thrilled to announce the launch of its AmeriCorps VISTA project. This initiative, aligned with the organization's mission to empower individuals to become multilingual global citizens, aims to increase awareness, access, and engagement in educational programs for community members while recruiting and retaining new volunteers.
Chantelle Daniels, the Founder and Executive Director of ReDefiners World Languages, expressed her excitement about the VISTA project, stating, "The VISTA project will have a transformative impact on the lives of over 1,000 children, youth, and adults across Hillsborough and Pinellas counties in Florida. The AmeriCorps VISTA members will play a pivotal role in addressing these challenges. By supporting program development, outreach, marketing, and partnership initiatives, they will strengthen the educational systems to tackle learning loss, promote career and technical education, and enhance educational outcomes for economically-disadvantaged children.
ReDefiners World Languages is committed to creating sustainable impact beyond the VISTA program. As projects near completion, VISTA members will develop comprehensive training materials to facilitate the ongoing use of resources and systems they establish.
