
Let's Learn Arabic
The “Let’s Learn Arabic” class was designed for children and their caregivers to have fun and learn together, the linguistic goal of the intergenerational course follows an “exposure” model for language learning, which generates interest, is introductory, and has an emphasis on cultural exploration.
It's a Free program provided by ReDefiners World Languages in partnership with the Children's Board Family Resource Centers, managed by Lutheran Services FL.
Let's Learn Arabic is a 8-week exposure language class offered on Saturdays for 1-hour at two Children's Board Family Resource Centers in Temple Terrace and Brandon.
An Exposure Arabic Class in Hillsborough County
The course is centered around the theme of "Family and Community", the class helps to deepen family ties, promote healthy socialization with others, and uses an interdisciplinary approach to expand academic knowledge of geography, social studies & develop communication skills such as: presentation, active listening, persuasion, writing, & expressing feelings while encouraging participants to become linguistically & interculturally competent in today's globalized society.

Child Enrolled in K-5th Grade in Hillsborough County School District (including home school)

Parent/Caregiver & Child must attend all 8 weeks of class if selected after registration

TUITION & FEES
Classes are FREE to CBFRC Center participants; must become a free member to join classes.
