Let's Learn Spanish

The Intergenerational Spanish Language Class is a Free program provided by ReDefiners World Languages in partnership with the Children's Board Family Resource Centers, managed by Lutheran Services FL for K-5th Grade students and their parents/caregivers.

Let's Learn Spanish is a 8-week exposure language class offered on Saturdays for 1-hour at seven Children's Board Family Resource Centers in Temple Terrace and Brandon.

An Exposure Spanish Class in Hillsborough County

The course is centered around the theme of "Family and Community", the class helps to deepen family ties, promote healthy socialization with others, and uses an interdisciplinary approach to expand academic knowledge of geography, social studies & develop communication skills such as: presentation, active listening, persuasion, writing, & expressing feelings while encouraging participants to become linguistically & interculturally competent in today's globalized society.

Exposure Class

ELIGIBILITY

  • Children ages 5-12

  • Must be Hillsborough County Resident

  • Parent/Caregiver & Child must attend all 8 weeks of class if selected after registration

SCHEDULE

  • One (1) class a week

  • One (1) hour per class

  • 8-weeks

TUITION & FEES

Classes are FREE to CBFRC Center participants; must become a free member to join classes.​
